Time for Tea in Wonderland with Sweet Pea Stamps

Today I'd like to share with you my Sweet Pea Stamps DT project I created using one of the gorgeous red rubber stamps from the Sweet Pea Stamp Store, I used the beautiful Gabbie Alice in Wonderland by Amanda S Byron.

You can't beat the quality of these rubber stamps, they stamp beautifully time after time, such a joy to work with.  I stamped Gabbie Alice in Wonderland in Black Tuxedo Memento Ink before colouring her with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers.  I decided to go with a muted colour palette, and teamed my image up with papers from Dovecraft's Curiosity Corner.

As you can see I fussy cut my image before adding her to my card.  I had great fun creating my wee scene on this project.  Using chevron patterned paper for my little hillside, and pretty floral paper for my trees, the tree trunks are cut from a tape measure detail on the chevron patterned paper.  I love using different elements from a piece of paper to create part of my project.  I distressed the edges of all my patterned papers with my Making Memories Distressing Tool (such a handy wee tool), before layering them onto my card.

To embellish my card I went for some baker's twine combined with a teapot and watch charm, and a beautiful red heart button.  For my sentiment I grabbed my favourite alphabet stickers, and added them to my trees.

You can get this gorgeous image and lots more of Amanda's beautiful images in gorgeous red rubber stamps right now in the Sweet Pea Stamps Store.

Thank You for visiting with me today, Bye for now

Happy Birthday Bear with Dilly Beans Stamps and a new challenge...

The Dilly Beans Stamps Design Team is back with a new challenge following our nice long winter break, and our challenge theme is 'GREEN'

I love the combination of Green and Purple, so had great fun with this card.  This super cute image is called Aidynn's Bear Framed; It was my Mum's birthday last week, and she loves the colour purple and bears, so i knew this was going to be the perfect card for her.
I started to colour this image with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils, but unfortunately my hands hurt so much using them I had to change back to my Letraset Promarkers.  I still love the finished image, and think the contrast between pens and pencils looks quite nice.  My Mum loved it too, so that was the most important thing.

You have two weeks to join in our challenge over at the Dilly Beans Stamps Challenge Blog, and we'd love to see your creations there. Hop over to check out the challenge rules and regs, and to see the gorgeous Green creations from the rest of our awesome DT.

That's all from me for today, Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely Mums in the UK, hope you have a wonderful day.

Soar with Sweet Pea Stamps

Today I'd like to share with you my Sweet Pea Stamps DT project I've made featuring one of the gorgeous image by The East Wind, which you can now get in both digital and rubber stamp format in the Sweet Pea Stamp Store.  I chose to get a little Steampunky with 'Lucy Loo - Voyager II'
As you can see Lucy Loo is ready to soar up into the sky on some amazing adventure.  I coloured this gorgeous girl with my Letraset Tria and Promarkers, with the addition of a little white gel pen for highlights.  I coloured her to go with the 'Somewhere in Time' Collection of papers and embellishments by Bo Bunny.
To embellish my card I added some die cuts and chipboard elements from the Bo Bunny collection, along with some Gold Satin Ribbon Roses, and Star Gems.  I used a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket for my sentiment, which seemed pretty appropriate for the image.
Have you visited the Sweet Pea Stamps Store recently, as we have lots of amazing artists, and new images are added almost every day, so there is so much to choose from, you really are spoilt for choice.  Want to know about flash sales and discount codes? Don't Worry Be Happy!!

Today I'd like to share with you my project featuring an image by one of the artists who recently joined Sweet Pea StampsSandra Caldwell has a wonderful fun and whimsical style of drawing and today I'm sharing her Ladibug Gal with you all;

As you can see my Ladibug Gal has some funky colours going on, and a cool sentiment to complete the project.  I used Letraset Promarkers to colour this image, and combined it with papers from MME's Follow Your Heart-Be Amazing paper pad.  I used alphabet sticker from Simple Stories for my sentiment, and the smily face is a charm that came with some loom bands (I snipped off the jump ring).
