Good Day All, I hope you are all well Today, It's very stormy outside here, in fact it's snowing!, so the perfect day to get crafty and share some crafty creations.
Today I'm sharing with you my last couple of projects as Guest Design Team Member for Sandra Caldwell Stamps.
I've had lots of fun this month working with Sandra's awesome images, so I thought I'd share two projects with you today both using the same super cute image, Image #3809 Knitting Ball Kat.
My first project is an Easel Card Calendar;
I created my Easel Card using two 4 inch square card blanks, cutting one in half along the score line for the top layer, and scoring the other card half way between one edge and the centre score line to create the Easel base. It's a great cheat, as you don't have to do any measuring.
My background papers are cut from one 12 x 12 inch sheet. I cut the squares to fit the card, then cut some of the circles from the paper for extra embellishment. I layered these circles around the paper to add more depth to the pattern.
Knitting Ball Kat is coloured with Copic Sketch Markers and a little white gel pen for highlights.
To finish my project I added the Calendar tab. Voila, a cute wee Calendar suitable for anybody's work desk or mantel piece.
My second project is a Reveal Wheel Card;
For my Reveal Wheel Card I used Dies and sentiment stamps from Lawn Fawn, combined with Patterned Paper from MFT. I've fallen in love with the Reveal Wheel Dies, they make it so easy to create such a fun interactive card, I'm definitely going to be making loads more.
Knitting Ball Kat is coloured with Copic Sketch Markers to coordinate with the patterned paper. decided to colour the Ball of Wool in Rainbow Colours, trickier than I thought it would be, but i'm pleased with how it turned out.
To embellish my card I added some Enamel Dots and Gems, I still can't decide if I over did it or not, but I kinda like the finished card.
