Growing in Unity - Day 4 - Never Give Up

Welcome to Day 4 of my GIU Week, I can't believe how fast this week has gone, I know it will be over before I realise it, but I've had such a wonderful time sharing my Unity Stamp Co project with you, and I've another creation to share with you today.

Today's project is a 5 x 7 inch Canvas Board;
I've used stamps from the Never set by Jolande and Marleen, along with the 'Love' stamp from the Vibes set.

To create my background I painted the Canvas with White Gesso, then added some polka dot paper tape to the bottom area, before I started to stamp on my canvas.

I stamped elements with Green and Black Archival Ink, before adding more layers of Gesso and Neon Pink Acrylic Paint.

I added some doodles to my canvas with Faber Castell PITT Pens, and White Posca Paint Pen.  I also added Black Faber Castell PITT Pen to the edge of my Canvas.  I added another layer of Neon Pink Acrylic to areas of the Canvas at this point, as I wanted to tone down the doodling, which looked a little overpowering.

To finish my Canvas I stamped the 'Never never never give up' and 'Love' sentiments, along with the Heartbeat Line stamp, all in Black Archival Ink.

Do I like the finished Canvas?  To be honest I'm not sure, I like areas of it, but i'm not sure about the thing as a whole.  But I had lots of fun creating it, and playing with the different layers of colour.

I hope you like today's project, or at least find my post interesting.  Don't forget to leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning some awesome Unity stamps, and come back tomorrow for my last post of the week.

Thank you for visiting with me
Bye for now
Happy Crafting

Inspiring and lovely. I love your canvas, but we've all looked at something we've made and said, "hmm, I'm not sure about this." Sometimes the act of creating it is the best part.
