Today I'd like to share with you another card i've created for the current challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.
Our theme this month is 'A Winter's Tale', and you can interpret this however you wish, but we'd love you to share with us you an explanation of your interpretation, if it's not obvious.
Here is my project;
For my card I used 'Taffy the Clown' image #76B. I had great fun colouring her in shades of blue, grey and beige using my Letraset Tria and ProMarkers.
So you are probably thinking What does a Blue Clown have to do with A Winter's Tale?
Here goes; This card like my previous one for this challenge is inspired by the song A Winter's Tale sung by David Essex. I see David Essex as our Clown, looking and feeling blue, but trying to put on a brave face to the world; He's pining for his lost love, trying not to make a fuss as it's the holiday season and everyone else is trying to have fun, and enjoy time with their loved ones. He's trying to smile and wishes his lost love good things for the future, even though their relationship is over, and he's left feeling sad and alone in Winter.
Hopefully my explanation makes sense. I do love being able to create a back story for the gorgeous images I get to colour.

Bye for now
