Oddball Art Stamps Challenge - Little Child

Today it is my pleasure to share with you my first creation as part of the Oddball Art Stamps Design Team.  I adore Lizzy Love's Art so jumped at the chance to work with her wonderful digital stamps.

We have a new challenge on the Oddball Art Stamps Blog today, Our theme is 'Little Child' - make a card for a child.

Here's my creation;

For my card I used 'Lara the Lurker & Teddy Image(#46D)' from Oddball Art Stamps.  I coloured my image with Letraset Tria & Promarker. I then stamped the Get well Soon sentiment before trimming and distressing the edges of my image.

One of my favourite things about the image is howTeddy looks, and I wanted to echo that effect some how in my background.  I decided to add some purple felt and stuffing to a piece of card, then cut a slit in the felt for the stuffing to poke out.

I added my felt covered card to a white card blank, after I'd distressed the edges of the card.  I then pinned my image to the felt using a couple of safety pins

I love how this card turned out, and I'm sure anyone would love to receive it as a Get Well Soon card, Obviously it's not suitable for a tiny child, but i'm sure a child would love it. I just hope that Teddy gets better soon, cos he looks a little sick.

Want to see more cards inspired by our 'Little Child' theme, then hop over to the Oddball Art Stamps Blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of our design team.  You'll all find instructions on how to join in our challenge and win some awesome Oddball Art Stamps images.

That's all from me for now, but i'll be back later today with another Oddball Art Stamps project, as we have some awesome new images to share with you today.

Bye for now
