Left of Center Creative Challenge #133 - Distressed

It's time for a new challenge over at the Left of Center Creative Challenge blog, so time to embrace our dark side and create something wickedly creep and offbeat.

This week our theme is Distressed or Left of Center;

For my project I used the wonderful 'Brick Wall Smash' Background image from KennyK Stamps.  It's a wonderful background image, very versatile, It did take a while to colour all those bricks, but it was great fun and very relaxing.

It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do with the hole in the wall; then I thought 'Smaug' and decided to draw a dragon's eye.  I used my Letraset Tria and Promarkers to draw the eye, with the addition of Black Faber Castell Pitt Pen for the really dark bits, and white pen for the highlights.
