Fun in the Sun with Sassy Studio Designs and Passion for Promarkers

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the latest challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, So as Guest DT for Sassy Studio Designs this month I got to play along with this fun challenge.

The challenge theme is 'Fun in the Sun'

Here's my card;

I used 'Pina Colada Pin Up' for this card, Isn't she fun, not only that but you can get her for free if your join in the Progressive Challenge over at the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Group.

My background papers are from one of Joanna Sheen's new paper pads, which have some wonderful papers in and are great value. 

I coloured all of my image except the glass before fussy cutting the image and adhering to my background paper.  I then coloured the glass, so I could tie it in perfectly to the background image, and try and create the illusion of transparency in the drink.  I think it worked quite well.  My image is coloured with Letraset Tria and Promarkers with the addition of a little white pen for highlights.

I used Tim Holtz Chit Chat stickers for my sentiment.
