Today we are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland, and what better way to do that, than to share lots of creative projects inspired by this wonderful story.
Not only will you see lots of amazing artwork today, but you can also win prizes from the following amazing companies;
Prize winners will be selected from Random blogs throughout the hop using Random.org to select each winner. In order to be eligible for a prize you must visit all stops on the hop and leave a comment. The prize draws will be open until July 18th, with winners announced on July 20th.
Here's my Alice in Wonderland inspired projects;
I used an MDF frame from That Craft Place for this project. I decoupaged it with strips of black and white text patterned paper that I had in my stash. Before adding my image and decoupaging that, altogether there are 4 layers of decoupage. The picture below gives you an idea of the dimension created.
For my next project I decided to make some ATCs;
The Mad Hatter by Vera Lane Studio. The sentiment comes from the same set of images. My background papers come from the Queen of Hearts Digital Paper Pack by The Invite Delight. As an extra wee treat for you I've a discount code for the Vera Lane Studio for all of you who haven't added any of their gorgeous images to your collection yet; TRYVERA10 will get you a 10% discount on your order.
For my second set of ATCs I used the gorgeous Queen of Wonder image by Sandra Caldwell available at Sweet Pea Stamps.com along with a sentiment from Vera Lane Studio. My background papers were from the Queen of Hearts Digital Paper Pack by The Invite Delight.
That's all my projects for today's hop. Now it's time for you to grab a cup of tea and fall down the rabbit hole to enter our Alice in Wonderland Blog Hop.
