A Buttercup just For You

Today I'd like to share with you a pretty card I've created featuring the super sweet 'Buttercup' image by Conie Fong which you can find over at the Sweet Pea Stamps store. Conie Fong draws some of the cutest children, and this image is one of my favourites.

Buttercup is coloured with Letraset Promarkers and then matted and layered onto some patterned paper from Crafter's Companions Everyday with Barkley A4 paper pad.  The papers in this set are so pretty, such delicate patterns including some lovely ombre effect papers.

I then layered a Papermania Die cut onto my card before adding my coloured image.  For my sentiment I used two of the dies from the MFT Die-namics Tag Talk set, and added some organza ribbon.

Using a Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch I punched some butterflies from some of the leftover background papers, adding one to the sentiment tag, and scattering more of them around my card.

For my main embellishment I chose to create a frame of paper flowers around my image.

Doesn't she look beautiful surrounded by all those flowers.  This card reminds me so much of Springtime, something which I am yearning for, I like most other people have had enough of this cold Wintery Weather, can't wait for Spring to arrive.

That's all from me for now, Thank you for visiting with me today, Don't forget to hop over to the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog to see all the beautiful creations from the rest of our very talented design team. And keep your eyes open for lots of gorgeous new images being adding to the Sweet Pea Stamps Store on a regular basis, I know you'll find lots of beautiful images to tempt you with.

Bye for now
