Dilly Beans Challenge; Round Card or Lots of Circles

Good Afternoon All, Today I'd like to share with you my creation for the new challenge over at the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog,  Our theme this time is 'Round Cards' or 'Lots of Circles', I went with the second option and used lots of circles on my project;
I chose the gorgeous 'Cinnamon Circle Frame' image for my card, I love this cute image, and it's perfect for a challenge requiring lots of circles.  I coloured Cinnamon with a mix of Letraset Tria and ProMarkers.

For my background, I raided my paper stash and found this wonderful Water Fun Circle/Stripe Double-sided paper by Pebbles Inc.  I trimmed a piece to fit my card blank, and then die cut a circle from it slightly bigger than my image.  I attached the square of paper to my card blank, and then added the die cut circle (with foam pads for dimension) showing the pattern from the other side of the paper.  I then added my coloured image.

Using a small circle punch, I punched 8 circles from the leftover card stock, and added my sentiment using Letter Stickers by Simple Stories. I arranged these around the image, and adhered them to the card, tucking the edges underneath my large die cut circle.

To finish my card I decided to make a coordinating bow out of the remaining patterned paper.  I used the MFT Beautiful Bows die.  This bow was so much easier to make than a hand tied bow, ribbon bows really are not my strong point.  Once I added the bow to the card, I decided to add a blue pearl to the centre of the bow, and the bow in Cinnamon's hair.

That's all from me for today, don't forget to hop over to the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous creations from the rest of the design team.  Thank you for visiting with me today

Bye for now
