All Steampunky to be exact, Today I'd like to share with you a steampunk creation made featuring an awesome image by the extremely talented Mr Rick St. Dennis. This is my EDT creation for the May Progressive Challenge over at the Sparkle and Glitter Rick St.Dennis EDT Blog, the challenge is very simple you just have to create something on the monthly theme using a Rick St. Dennis image, and if you do you get a free special image for the following months challange.
So here's my Steampunk creation using the beautiful Olympia;
I requested a Coppelia inspired Dancing Clockwork Robot, and Olympia is the awesome creation that appeared in my inbox courtesy of the wonderful Rick St. Dennis. Isn't she just divine! I love her, and had a great time colouring her with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers.
My background papers are from a Digital Scrapbooking Kit inspired by Alice in Wonderland from Divine Digital. (Unfortunately looks like they are no longer trading) I chose a rather wild pattern for my main background, so decided to keep embellishment to a minimum, and die cut some cogs and watch parts using my Xcut Dies and Black Card stock.
Here is a close up of Olympia;
I just love the level of detail in this image, you can see all her cogs and working parts.
Want to get your hands on Olympia, well she'll be in Rick's Stores really soon, so make sure you check out the Rick St Dennis Etsy Store and Zibbet Store for this and loads more awesome images.
Don't forget to visit the Sparkle and Glitter Rick St. Dennis EDT Blog to check out the truly wonderful creations from the rest of the EDT, and to take part in our challenge. Want to show us your creations and get more inspiration from Rick and the EDT, then join the Rick St. Dennis Fans & Friends Facebook Group.
I'd like to enter this card into the current Passion for ProMarkers challenge which has the theme of 'No Sentiment' this time around.
