Desert Islands Crafts Challenge's 3rd Birthday Celebration

We are super excited to be celebrating Desert Islands Crafts Challenge's 3rd birthday today with a fun blog hop!

I can hardly believe it's been 3 years since I came up with the idea for this challenge blog, and I just want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to my wonderful design team. If it wasn't for them the Island would not be the wonderful fun and inspirational place it is, I really could not have come this far without them. Thank you to all those who have played with us in the last 3 years, I hope you continue to enjoy our challenges, and have as much fun as we do. Now onto our challenge.

Here's my creation;

For my card I used the very apt 'Birthday Cake Sassy', Isn't she perfect for a birthday celebration! Look at that cake, makes me rather hungry lol! She is coloured with Graph'It Markers with the addition of some Gold Graph'It Shake pen, and a little white Graph'It Shake Pen for highlights. I used papers from American Crafts Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic Collection. My sentiment is a rubberstamp from Whimsy Stamps, and I stamped it with Picked Raspberries Distress Ink. To finish my card I added a few pink gems.
