It's Friday and time for a new challenge over at the Graph'It Markers Challenge Blog, and this weeks is a real corker, challenge is definitely the word. The theme this week is 'No Characters - Colour an Accessory!'
so forget about playing with your favourite character stamps this week you need to colour something a little different
What a fun challenge, I decided to make a boy's card, so used the cute truck digis on the Pretty Tuff CD from Polkadoodles for my bright and cheery card. I combined this with some Washi Tape and a Custom Licence Plate.
Graph'It Colours used;
0000, 1170, 1180, 2150, 2160, 5220, 5240, 6110, 6140, 6180, 6190, 7125, 7130, 9103, 9105, 9108.
I wanted my card to be bright and to appeal to a little boy, so trucks seemed a great idea, and what better than a rainbow of trucks. I had great fun creating the background for the Licence Plate, simply colouring a piece of my stamping paper with the markers in rainbow order, using the chisel tip and long diagonal strokes, then I used the blender pen to soften the edges between each colour.
So What are you going to colour for our challenge? Still not sure, Why not hop over to the Graph'It Markers Blog and check out the creations from the rest of our awesome Design Team, I'm sure they will inspire you. You'll find full details on our challenge and news of an awesome prize too!
