Yiphee It's Friday again, and time for a new challenge over at the Graph'It Markers Blog. Did you get chance to play along last week? I did, Wasn't it fun trying to find ways to colouring something 'White', not an easy task, but definitely fun, and a great way to learn more about my Graph'It Markers.
This week's challenge theme is 'Red Hair' - nice and simple, add some sort of character to your project with luscious red locks; any shade of red, from pale auburn to firehouse red; just remember to use some sort of alcohol markers to colour your image.
Here's My Beautiful Girl with Red Hair;
I couldn't resist colouring the beautiful 'Sweater Socks Fairy' from Saturated Canary. I really do love Saturated Canary images, and they are perfect for a hair colouring challenge, as they always have such beautiful hair. The hardest decision i find when using a Saturated Canary image is deciding which one to use!!
I used the following Graph'It Markers to colour my image;
Skin - 4110, 4125, 4145, 4155, 4170, 5110
Hair - 5210, 5240, 5245, 5270
Outfit and Eyes - 7240, 7250, 7260
Wings - 1170, 2105, 2110, 5210, 5240, 7240, 0000 + Sakura Clear Stardust Pen
I used patterned papers from Echo Park's So Happy Together Paper Pad, paired up with some red card stock and turquoise chevron ribbon. I used the Scalloped Borders Two dies from Spellbinders to add a decorative edge to my paper and card stock. The sentiment is from My Mind's Eye Find Your Wings and Fly - Up and Away Alpha & Word Stickers set.
I hope you'll have time to get your Alcohol Markers out and play along with our challenge, we'd love to see you version of Red Hair, remember to hop over to the Graph'It Markers Blog to get full details of our challenge, and to see the beautiful creations from the rest of the design team.
Thank you for visiting with me today
Bye for now
