The Final Challenge at Sparkle and Glitter with Rick St. Dennis, meets Desert Island Crafters Challenge!!

It's the 1st of March today, so here's hoping Spring is well and truly in the air, and with Spring, comes changes and new beginnings. Today see's the last challenge over at Sparkle and Glitter with Rick St. Dennis, the blog is still going to be running, and we'll be showcasing lots more of Rick's awesome images, along with tutorials and much much more! You'll also see Rick's image around blogland lots more too, as the EDT guest at some of bloglands best challenge blogs, so you'll have loads more opportunities to play along with us, and win Rick's images.

Today's Desert Island Crafts Challenge is sponsored by non other than Rick St. Dennis, the multi talented man who can draw anything from Alice in Wonderland to the Grim Reaper, and some truly awesome stuff in between. Check out his Etsy Store; you'll find lots of images old and new to tempt you, you really will be spoilt for choice.

Here's our Itinerary for today's challenge:
1.Spring
2.Flowers

3.Fluffy Animals
4.Pastel Colours
5.For Mom
6.Ribbon and Bows
7.Chocolate

8.A Shaped Card (not square or rectangle)
9. Fancy Edges
10. Brads or Eyelets

Here's my card for both challenges;
I used the beautiful Lady of the Roses image by Rick St. Dennis for my card. She's coloured with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers, with the addition of a little metallic silver pen.

I wanted to make the image the focal point of my card, so kept the embellishments to a minimum, adding some organza ribbon and a purple rose to coordinate with the image.  My background is a piece of variegated aqua card stock, which echo's the background of my image, and helps showcase this beautiful lady.

I hope you'll be inspired to play along with both challenges, don't forget to hop over to the Sparkle and Glitter with Rick St. Dennis Blog and the Desert Island Crafts Challenge Blog to see some beautiful creations from some very talented ladies.

Thanks for visiting with me today
Bye for now
