It's time for a new challenge over at Eureka Stamps Challenge Blog, and this week it's all about 'Swirls and Pearls'. For my card I chose to use the super sweet 'Baby Animals' image by Eureka Stamps. I coloured my image with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers and teamed it up with some papers from Prima's Sweet Fairy paper pad, along with some Co-ordinations cardstock. My sentiment came from a pack I had hiding in my crafty stash, no idea who made it, but it worked perfectly with the Prima Papers. I embossed some of the Co-ordinations cardstock with a swirl embossing folder and used this as a background for my sentiment. To finish my card, I added two rows of pearls along the bottom of my card, and a few around the top corner of my image.
I like how this card turned out, after all you'd expect the image to be used on a Baby's card, but it works perfectly as a friendship image too, and looks great in slightly offbeat colours. I hope you like my card too, and feel inspired to join us at Eureka Stamps Challenge Blog .
