DICC#48 - Smeared Ink

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day yesterday, I'm still all loved up, but it is my anniversary, me and my adorable hubby have been together 11 years today, so I'm very happy and grateful to have some a wonderful hubby.

It's time to share the latest Desert Island Crafters Challenge Itinerary with you! This time, we are very pleased to be sponsored by Smeared Ink. Here's a little about them.

Would you like to know what the prize is??? It's the Heart Wings digi set! Take a look!
Isn't that an awesome prize, the DICC DT were lucky enough to get to play with this set for our challenge.

And now, on to the Itinerary. Remember, you must use at least 3 of the items on the Itinerary, and be sure to mention which numbers you worked with.

1. Heart(s)
2. Wings
3. Glitter
4. Doilie
5. Loving Sentiment
6. At Least 3 Patterned Papers
7. Smeared Ink Stamps
8. Lots of Texture
9. Metal Accents
10. Distressing

Here's my creation based on the Itinerary;
I love how this card turned out, I had the original idea of a rainbow of hearts on a textured backed and that idea developed into this card. I went for a white base to bounce the colours off, and then add 4 panels of embossed white card stock. I printed my winged heart image out 7 times and coloured with my Letraset Tria and Promarkers with the addition of some Silver Stardust Glitter Pen from Sakura. To finish it all off I added the sentiment, using these beautiful metal word embellishments I got from my lovely friend Kelli Green today. Perfect timing to finish this card!!

Now you'll want to hop over to the DICC Blog to see what the rest of the DT have created to inspire you and check out the beautiful creations from our Guest Designers the Smeared Ink DT. I hope you'll be inspired to join in, you've got until the 28th Feb to upload your projects

Happy Crafting
