It's time for another fun challenge over at the Desert Island Crafters Challenge Blog. It's February so that must mean it's time to start feeling the love and get into the Valentines mood!! Any excuse to get out the red and pink and some pretty hearts, definitely cheers you up on these dreary winters days.
February 1st Itinerary
1. Love/Romance
2. Heats
3. Pearls
4. Pink & Red Theme
5. Lace
6. Sentiment
7. Paint
8. Eyelets
9. String/Raffia
10. Image of a “Couple”
Here's my card for today's challenge;
For my card I used the beautiful image #193 Heartstring from our sponsor Dilly Bean Stamps. I coloured the image with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers in beautiful shades of pink and red, i then added a blue outline to my image to make it pop. I used some pink and red striped card stock from my stash for my background, along with a heart punch, and heart washi tape. Finally to finish my card off I used a sentiment by K&Co that's been in my stash for ages. I love how bright and cheerful this card is, I do love valentines.
Thank you for visiting with me today, and don't forget to pop over to the Desert Island Crafters Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created to inspire you, and to play along with our challenge.
Bye for now
