Happy New Year with Rick St. Dennis and Desert Islands Crafters Challenge..

Happy New Year to you all, hoping that 2013 is an excellent year for us all.  Sorry my post is a little late, not been too well the last few weeks, but i'm sure i'll be better soon.

On January 1st we launched a new challenge at the Desert Islands Crafters Challenge blog, with a very fun and appropriate itinerary;

We also have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge, the very talented Rick St. Dennis, you really must check out  his Etsy store as it's full of wonderful images, some a little weird and wacky, some a little vintage, but all beautifully drawn by this talented man.

For my card i used 'Opera' from Rick St. Dennis, As soon as I saw her i fell in love with her, she reminds me of myself, although you really wouldn't want to hear me sing lol!!  The Something New on my card were the background papers( Clock Background & Number Grid Background)  and sentiment( It's New Year Time Set) which i bought from The Cutting Cafe.
