A Little Spooky Inspiration from The Cutting Cafe

This week at The Cutting Cafe we're getting into the Halloween Spirit and showcasing some of Regina's wonderful Halloween Templates and Images.

I used the Happy Halloween Word Shaped Card Cutting File, along with the spider from the Web Shaped Card Cutting File.

I can't believe how quickly this card came together, I guess I've been so used to cutting things by hand, that to have the Sizzix Eclips do it for me is just such a treat. It would have taken me ages to cut the card and all the letters out by hand, but it took a few minutes with the magic of technology.

For my card base and the spider I used some black glossy card stock from my stash.  I cut all the letters out from one 12 x 12 sheet of Spookville Paper by We R Memory Keepers. The paper had 4 6 x 6 blocks of different patterns, so I arranged my letters so I could cut the whole Happy Halloween sentiment in each segment, giving me lots of spare letters, and chance to play around with mixing the patterns on my card.

My spider is pretty plain, I think next time i make him he needs a bit more texture, but I do love him.  I used a white gel pen to give him a wonky smile, and some 'Evil Eye' beads for his eyes.

That how I created this spooky little card, for more wonderful examples of projects made with The Cutting Cafe products make sure you visit the Blog today for our weekly inspiration post, and visit the rest of the awesome DT, They've created some spook-tacular creations to inspire you.

Have a wonderful day all
