Unusual Alice with PPP

It's time for me to share with you my PPP DT project for this month, and this months challenge is truly wonderful, we want you to take a trip to Wonderland, but make it a little different!!

Our challenge is called 'Unusual Alice' - Make an Alice in Wonderland inspired project with your own little twist.

We are very lucky to by sponsored by The Stamping Boutique this month, and Tracey has some awesome Alice images in her store, and this months challenge winner gets to choose 3 digis from The Stamping Boutique, the only thing the winner will find difficult is trying to decide on just 3 images.  Tracey's images have a wonderful fun whimisical feel to them, and are perfect for so many different occasions, I highly recommend you hop over to The Stamping Boutique Store and have a good browse, your gonna fall in love for sure!

Here's my Unusual Alice Card...
For my card I used the awesome 'Alice in Wonderland: Mad Hatter image' from The Stamping Boutique.  I coloured my image in with Letraset Promarkers and Flexmarkers, before trimming my image and using the crackle border & corner punches from Martha Stewart for the edging.  I then matted my image onto black gloss card stock.  I made a card blank from some more black gloss card, to which i added my patterned paper (Dovecraft: Monochrome, I think).  I then added some washi tape and shimmer bubble stickers for a little contrast.  I added my main image at a jaunty angle, to finish the card off I added the Mad Hatter sentiment using some glitter foam stickers I got from a £1 shop ages ago.  I love how this turned out, weird, wacky, and sparkly, just like me tehe!!

The Unusual Alice Challenge runs for another two weeks, so you've still got plenty of time to join in.  Just blog your project and then link up on the PPP Blog.

Thank You for visiting with me today
Happy Crafting
