Good Morning, It's my pleasure today to share with you a piece i've created for my Guest DT spot at The Greeting Farm this month.
As soon as I saw Prince Ian and Princess Anya, I knew i wanted to create a ballroom inspired scene. That's what today's project is all about a magical prince and princess at a wonderful ball.
I Stamped Ian and Anya onto watercolour paper, then masked them so i could stamp my checker board floor. I then used a combination of pearl paints, watercolour pencils and distress ink to colour my scene.
I added some flourishes and a little shading with some black distress ink to finish the scene.
I decided to turn it into a little wall hanging, so i cut two identical squares of black card stock to matt my image onto. I sandwiched a piece of black ribbon in the form of a loop between the black card stock to create my hanger.
I then added my image, aslong with a diecut border, some ribbon, a pretty paper rose and some butterflies, before finishing it all off with some sentiment tickets.
I love how the finished project turned out, as the pearl paints give it a wonderful magical shimmer, which i hope you can see in the picture.
I'm delighted to see my project featured over at the Splendid Stamping with The Greeting Farm Blog, I get a buzz everytime i see one of my creations shared, it really is an honour. Make sure you hop over to the TGF blog today as they have a beautiful super shiny preview to share with you.
Happy Monday to you all
