Today we are previewing the first of a new collection of images from Simply B Stamps by the very talented Alica Bell. They are called the 'Spunky Spooks' and as the name suggests they've got attitude as well as being a little on the spooky side.
Let me introduce you to Betty Bolts and Baxter. Betty is a doll, but she's not very bright, and is terribly accident prone; luckily her Dad is a mechanic and usually manages to put her back together with a few nuts and bolts. Her beloved Baxter is just as clumsy, so they make the perfect pair.
Here's Betty...
Betty Bolts and Baxter are coloured with Letraset Promarkers, I decided to give them a shiny silver look, to go with the whole metallic feel of the spanner and bolts. I used some leftover Echo Park Halloween paper along with some graduated green cardstock, and orange vellum. I kept my embellishments very simple, just creating a lace ribbon frame around the image.
Want to see more of Betty Bolts and Baxter, then hop over to the Simply B Stamps Blog to see what the rest of the DT have done with them. I'm sure you'll love all their creations, I know I do.
Bye for now
