It's Whimsy Wednesday & I'm Distressed!!

....well that's not strictly true, it's my card that is distressed rather than me, tehe!!

Yes this week's Whimsy Stamps Challenge is all about Distressing, we want to see some sort of distressing on your project, Distressed papers, ripped edges, maybe some embossed and sanded areas, just have fun, and remember you can always add some Distress Ink to help you along.

Here's my card...

For my card I used the beautiful Rose Butterfly image by Crissy Armstrong available at Whimsy Stamps Store. I coloured my image with a mix of Letraset Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I used papers and ribbon from the Burleigh Blue Capsule Collection by Papermania, not the sort of patterned papers I use very often, but they worked beautifully for this image, and the paper quality is remarkably good considering the price.
