Fool's Game @ Poisoned Peas Please !!

Today I thought I'd share with you my DT project for the  Poisoned Peas Please Challenge No. 2 - 'Fool's Game'

This Poisoned Peas Please (PPP) challenge is right up April’s alley (the month silly, not the girl). The theme is “Fool’s Game.” We want to see your interpretation of what you think a “Fool’s Game” might imply. We want you to create anything you like! This means you can create cards, ATCs, mixed-media, collage, altered art, etc.

Here's my interpretation of the theme;

We are very lucky to be sponsored by Smeared Ink this month, and I got to play with the wonderful Carnie Girl image.  I kepted my card very simple; I printed Carnie Girl and coloured her with Letraset Promarkers & Flexmarkers.  I found the Lyrics for Fool's Game by Limp Bizkit and thought they were perfect for this challenge; so i copied them into Word, and printed them onto Letrast Safmat to create my sticky sentiment.

I used a white card blank for my background to which i added some black punchinella, held on with a few red staples.  I then added my image and sentiment, before finishing it all off with some strips of washi tape.

I love how this card turned out, I can really see this Carnie girl singing along with Limp Bizkit.
