A Monochromatic Whimsy Wednesday

It's Wednesday, so that must mean it's time for a new challenge over at the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog.  This week's challenge is definately one of my favourites, we're getting Monochromatic!! All you have to do is make your project Monochromatic, so pick a colour and use different shades of that for you whole project, or the main focal point.

For my card I used the adorable 'I Love' image by Lia Stampz available at Whimsy Stamps Store. I used some brown cardstock from my stash along with some Kraft paper, to create my card blank and background.  I used the large embossing folder from the TH LOVE Embossing Folder set to emboss my kraft paper before distressing the edges and adhering it to my card.  I stapled a TH Adage Ticket to my background before adding my cute little mouse.  My mouse is coloured with a mix of Letraset Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

I kind of like the rustic distressed look this card has, and I adore the mouse image.
