It's Friday, and time for some fun. We have a new challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges for it, and it's a goodie...
This week we are challenging you to use your DIES! Now that's a challenge to "die" for no?
One lucky winner will receive the following two digi images: Gift Wrapping Alex and Judy Present from the new Sweet Gothic Kids Christmas line!
Here's my card using Gift Wrapping Alex..
For my background I used some of Echo Park's Everybody Loves Christmas Papers, along with some Co-Ordinations cardstock. I cut my Christmas Tree from some dark green cardstock I had in my stash using a Sizzix die, and cut a plant pot to go with it. I then added various sizes and colours of rhinestud to my tree to give the impression of baubles. I coloured Alex to coordinate with the papers, before cutting him out and adding him to the card with foam pads. To finish it all off I added some Red Alphabet Letters, and the bunting I'd die cut from a scrap of the patterned paper.
I love how this turned out, especially the Christmas Tree, I think i'll be creating a few more Trees with Baubles this year, lol!! You've got until August 4th to upload your card to the Challenge Blog, and be in with a chance of winning two gorgeous images.
Bye for now
