Add some Texture on Digital Tuesday with The Stamping Boutique

This week The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring Digital Tuesday Challenge, so I thought I'd play along, I do love a good challenge blog.


So this week's challenge at Digital Tuesday Challenge is to add texture to your card/project.  Here's my take on the challenge,

For my card I used the adorable 'Baby Boy on the Beach' image from The Stamping Boutique, such a beautiful little scene, and so much fun to colour.  I coloured the image with Letraset Promarkers.


I added lots of texture to this card, starting off with the background paper, which i embossed with a dotty embossing folder.  I then layered some sequin waste over my background paper, before adding my image.   I found some shells in my stash, and thought they would make the perfect embellishment for this card.


I love how this card turned out, really makes me want to go to the beach, something i must do more often this summer, after all I do live at the Seaside!
