Monochromatic Magic with Paper Cupcakes

Today I'd like to share with you my first DT card for Paper Cupcakes.  This weeks challenge at There's Magic In the Air with Paper Cupcakes is to create a Monochromatic creation, I decided to use various shades of lilac and purple for my card, along with the beautiful Cute Valentine image available in the Paper Cupcake Store.

I used a lilac card blank, along with some patterned paper from Blonde Moments; Sugar Dumpling paper pack.  My image is coloured with prismacolour pencils and oms.  I stamped my sentiment in purple stazon.
I used a little pink with my lilac, embellishing my card with pink butterflies, and pink glitter stickers.  Maybe not strictly monochromatic, but close enough I think.

I gave this card to my Mum last week, as it was her birthday, and she loves shades of lilac and purple.  So she was very happy with it.  Hope you like it too, and Thank you so much for visiting with me today.
Bye for now
Suzi

Great card. It made me laugh ... don't all mums love lilac/purple!
