Let's Celebrate with Simply Betty Stamps

Well hello everyone! So happy to see you here on this fine Friday morning! Today we have a special Challenge, it's a Celebration Challenge... what are we celebrating? NEW RUBBER RELEASE!! Woohoo!

Today not only do we have a challenge, but we have these cute Sweet Gothic Kids Birthday Line in rubber!

You heard me RUBBER! All in stock and all ready to go to a good home that will provide them with lots of ink and play time!

Our challenge is using any SBS image: anything Birthday of course!

For my card I couldn't resist using the gorgeous Sally from the Sweet Gothic Kids Birthday Line, she is definately one of my all time favourite Simply Betty Stamps

I Love the Balloons that are on the Sally image, but for this card decided to try something a little different and replace them.  I used a heart nestie to cut out 3 felt hearts to replace the balloons.  I also die cut a piece of white felt before stamping my sentiment on it with violet stazon, I'm quite pleased a how this turned out, and never would have thought of it, if I had seen this week's 'Ways to Use It' Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

I coloured Sally with prismacolour pencils and oms, then die cut her and distressed the edges. I used paper from the Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling set, I used a MFT Die and stamp combo for my sentiment. I added some purple felt to the bottom of the card, this helps anchor the image, and gives a nice strong background for my sentiment.

I love the texture of the felt on this card, so soft, love the pastel colours too.  Such a super sweet birthday card, maybe too sweet for some, but you all know now much I love pink!

Thanks for visiting with me, and don't forget to hop over to the Simply Betty Challenges Blog to see the awesome creations the rest of the DT have to inspire you with.

Have a wonderful day
