The Shabby Tea Room is Celebrating it's first year of challenges, with a Party Time challenge, all you have to do to join in is create a Card, Banner or Gift with a Birthday or Celebration theme.
For my card I used the super cute Birthday Bunny from The Stamping Boutique, just a fun image to work with, and I had real fun with this card. I created my card blank from a sheet of silver pearlescent card stock, and added some pale pink polka dot paper from DCWV's Spring Stack. I coloured my image in Prismacolour pencils and oms, using a silver prismacolour pencil for the cake stand. I die cut my image, and then added some pink fluffy stuff to the cake, and the edges of my background paper, I left this to dry for a few minutes before heating with my heat gun to make it fluffy. To finish my card I added some silver mesh ribbon, with a stamped and die cut sentiment.
I love how the fluffy stuff looks like Icing, adds a lovely touch of dimension to the card, and the whole card looks very appropriate for a 1st birthday.
Thanks for visiting with me today
