Today I have a special card to share with you, it's my first card as Guest Design Team Member for The TownScrapper ; I was overjoyed and very honoured when Phebe of The TownScrapper asked me to be a Guest DT for her, I was even more delighted when i saw the gorgeous Victoria Case images I get to work with. Not only are these images gorgeous, but they are exclusive to The TownScrapper.
The TownScrapper is a 'brick's and mortar' papercrafting store situated in Petrolia, Ontario in Canada. They ship worldwide and you can find full contact details for them HERE.
For my card i decided to try something a little different and made a 'twisted' easel card. I couldn't resist using this gorgeous Victoria Case image of a very romantic owl couple. For my background I used papers from Bo Bunny's Crush Collection, and created a quilted heart background using a quilters pattern i found Here. I coloured my Owls with Promarkers before cutting out and adding to my background using foam pads to give some height. I used a set of border/corner punches to create my heart border, and backing piece for my sentiment. I used a border punch on the base of my card, and then wove some ribbon through it to give a nice romantic feel. To finish the whole thing I scattered some red and white pearl hearts around my background.
I love how this turned out, and fingers crossed my mum will love it, as it's the card I made for my Dad to give her on Valentines Day.
Thanks for visiting with me today,
Have a great weekend
