Back in Black...and Red with the BDolls

Time for another fun challenge with the Burtonesque Dolls, and this weeks is really nice and simple,It's a Colour Challenge, the colours are
RedWhite and Black
A nice classic colour combination which is so very 'Burtonesque'.

You can make a card/project for any occasion with any theme, just as long as you stick to the colour combination.  You may use neutrals and skintones along with the colours chosen, but try and limit it to that:)

My first card today features Jasper from Spesch Designer Stamps, I thought he looked rather 'Burtonesque' and reminds me of Johnny Depp (yummy!!).  I decided to have a play with how I coloured him, and used a Letraset fineliner to colour his hair and add some shadows to the image, i was going for a cross-hatched hand drawn look, I think it kinda works.  To brighten him up a little, I added some red pencil over some of the pen work.  I used papers from my stash, adding some black gems and faux stitching.

My second card, you may have already seen, as I made it for the current Desert Islands Crafters Challenge, but I wanted to share it with you again today, not only because I love it, but because this gorgeous image, and the rest of the Steampunk Romance Images will be available to purchase at Simply Betty Stamps.com Tonight at 6pm PST.

Thanks for stopping by, and keep an eye out for a rather Romantic Blog Hop later today!!!
Bye for now

Suzi Suzi Suzi. You know I adore your work but to see you use Jasper so brilliantly is such a treat. I agree he does look like JD but when he was designed he looked more like Jasper from Twilight - hence the name. Thanks for using him so well
