In honour of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this week's StampInsanity Challenge, is to make a card 'Thinking Pink', with added kudos for using the Katie for a Cure image.
For my card i decided to try something a little different, and just printed out Katie's upper body; I then used some pink ribbon to frame Katie, with a jeweled brad to create the crossed ribbon effect.
Then i got crafter's block; I knew the card needed something else but i wasn't sure what. I asked my fellow groovy girls, and as soon as 'pearls' were mentioned I got an idea.
So I added the sentiment 'Thnk Pnk' in pearls, I missed the 'i's' out for two reasons, one I like how it makes the sentiment sound very up to date, and text like. I also didn't want to squash my words, and I didn't have alot of room for the work Think.
I'm really happy with the finished card now, just shows that sometimes it's a good idea to get other people's opinions, cos they can give you some great ideas. Thanks Groovy Gurlz
