We're Jammin' Out with Pixie Dust Studios.

It's Friday, and it's Release Day at the Pixie Dust Studio, and today we're revealing the Jammin' Out collection, and i'm sure your going to love it as much as I do, it features some super sweet and cute characters.
My first card for today features the adorable Music Pixie.  I had great fun with this card, i used papers that i'd got free with a magazine ages ago, i love the music theme of these papers and the wonderful bright colours.  I printed Music Pixie out twice, using one copy as my template for the musical note that i cut out of pattern paper, and the other copy i used for my Pixie. Music Pixie is coloured with a mixture of promarkers, sakura glaze & stardust pens, and embellished with a couple of pearls.  I kept my layout very simple for this card, as i wanted to make a feature of the patterned paper aswell as the gorgeous Pixie; to tie my whole design together i added pearls to coordinate with the coloured dots on the paper.

My second card features the super sweet  Jam & Jelly, I think this is one of my favourite images; I decided it was perfect for a little friendship card.  I used a pale blue patterned paper to represent the sky, and added a couple of strips of green card for grass, which i punched with my new grass border punch.  I used my largest heart nestie as a template to draw the heart behind Jam & Jelly; I then coloured them with prismacolour pencils and ordourless spirits, before cutting them out and adding to my card.  To finish my card i stamped the 'Best Friends' sentiment, and added some pink and blue gems to the heart and the bottom of the card.

My final card today feature's Jamba the Panda, Isn't he cute!  I kept this card very simple, just black and white with the addition of a little brown and green for the bamboo.  I rounded the corners on my card blank and papers to give the card a slightly different look.  I then created a couple of pearl frames around my image. To finish my card off i added some black glaze pen to Jamba's eyes and nose to give them a little shine.

I do hope you've enjoyed looking at today's card, don't forget to check out the rest of the Pixies creations, as they are all out of this world as always

Have a great day, and a very Happy Holiday Weekend to all my American friends.
