Rock n' Rolla - Take Me Out!!!

Last night i was having a surf and popped over to the Smeared & Smudged Forum; with it being the start of a new month they had some new challenges up, and the Rock N Rolla Inspiration Challenge really took my fancy.
JULY CHALLENGE:
"Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand
 View the video HERE

After watching the video, i had a browse through my stamp collection, and sorted out a few stamps that reminded me of the video.   'David' is from a set by Sunday International, and it's one of my favourite stamps which i've had for about 4 years now, and it's a while since i used it.  The other stamps were a mixture of Stampin' Up and Bo Bunny Background stamps.  I stamped my images in brown stazon ink, and then added prismacoloured pencils to some areas, which i then blended with ordourless spirits.  I then added some black soot distressing ink, blended it a little, and then spritzed with water.  When it was almost dry i added some freehand doodling in black glaze pen.

I've no idea what i'm going to do with this card, not exactly the sort that most people would like to receive.  I did have great fun creating it tho, and it was so nice to let my mind go a little off track and embrace my 'funky' side again.

Thank you for looking, and i hope you like today's creation, and if you don't Sorry, but remember it's more important to enjoy what your creating than to court public favour.
Have a wonderful weekend all

I love this card! As for what to do with it, just send it here and I'll put it up in my craft room! Did you start on patterned paper or is it all stamps and coloring? I just love the blocks of color and bits of pattern, and of course, David! I lived in Italy for a long time, so I collect stamps with an Italian theme (only surpassed by the number of stamps with an Alice theme, lol!), and have several David stamps myself! You are right, you have to find the right recipient for a David card, LOL!

Most interesting use I've found for a David stamp: There is a craft store in Florida where they stamped David on tissue paper (along with other images) and decoupaged him onto a light switch cover, which made flipping the switch very interesting indeed!
