Yes, It's time to show you the whole of 'The Nutcracker' Collection from Pixie Dust Studio, available to purchase in the store today.
I have a 'fairy' special card to share with you today...
It features the beautiful 'Sugarplum Fairy'; well five Sugarplum Fairies to be precise. My idea behind this card was to give the impression of the Fairie's dancing, I also wanted to get some dimension and perspective into it, so i printed the Sugarplum Fairy out in three different sizes. I then remember i had this gorgeous pearlescent patterned paper in my collection, call 'Tutti Frutti' which was just perfect for this card. My card base is an aqua colour, i then used two papers from the Tutti Frutti collection to create the impression of a dancefloor, i used a deep border punch to create a pretty fence in the background. I coloured my fairies in with promarkers, and some sakura stardust pen to add a little shimmer. To finish my card off I added a computer generated sentiment, which i had layered onto a scrap of the pattern paper.
I think this card is one of my favourites, i love fairies and ballerina's, so this card just reminds me of my happy childhood, such precious memories. I hope you have as much fun with these images as i've had. Don't forget to check out the Pixie Dust Challenge Blog on Thursday to see this weeks new challenge, i'm sure you'll come up with something marvelous for it featuring these gorgeous new images.
Thank You so much for visiting with me
Have a wonderful day
