"At this moment the King, who had been for some time busily writing in his note-book, cackled out `Silence!' and read out from his book, `Rule Forty-two. ALL PERSONS MORE THAN A MILE HIGH TO LEAVE THE COURT.'
Everybody looked at Alice.
`I'M not a mile high,' said Alice.
`You are,' said the King.
`Nearly two miles high,' added the Queen.
`Well, I shan't go, at any rate,' said Alice: `besides, that's not a regular rule: you invented it just now.'
`It's the oldest rule in the book,' said the King.

Hello everyone!
Today we have a fun and rather rebellious challenge for all of you out there in WONDERLAND! We start out with a lovely sketch by Sammi:
The catch? You must RE-CREATE this sketch somehow. Switch out a panel or two, flip on its side, upside down, etc. There are no rules except to break them, meaning you can't follow the sketch exactly! Makes no sense right? GOOD. :)
Today we also are thrilled to announce another wonderful sponsorship from SPESCH DESIGNER STAMPS! Thank you so much to Tracey Feeger for allowing the DT to work with your adorable images! Tracey is offering a prize of a VERY generous $10 Gift Certificate to the Spesch Designer Stamps Store! Be sure to check out all of her cute designs and be sure to play along this week for your chance to WIN!
Go ahead...BREAK all the rules...you KNOW you want to!
The first thing i did with this weeks card, was choose some papers and cardstock to work with, I decided to use papers from the 'For Him' Colossal paper pack by Papermania, i thought the mix of colours would work very nicely with my Cheshire Cat image from SpeschdesignerStamps. I found a nice coordinating cardstock in my stash. I used a 7" x 10" white card blank from my stash for my cardbase, i then layered on some blue cardstock before i create my first background layer, using two patterned papers, in a patchwork style. For my main background layer, i used two patterned papers with the same pattern, but in different colourways; I lined them up to try and create a plesant join. I then layered these papers on blue cardstock, then white cardstock, before adding them to my card base.
I took my Cheshire Cat image, copied and flipped it, so i had two cats, and printed them out. I then coloured them with promarkers to coordinate with my papers, and cut them out. I then played around with the layout of the two cats until i came across a variation i was happy with; i then added foam pads to the back of the cats and added them to my card. I printed and die cut my sentiment, layering it on patterned paper, and blue cardstock, I adhered it to my card with a foam pad.
For my embellishments, i die cut a series of circles from patterned paper, blue cardstock, and white cardstock. I layered these on top of each other and added to my card with a foam pad. To finish my card off i added pearls to the three circle embellishments i'd created, as well as adding some to the circles in the patterned paper.
I look forward to seeing what you do with Sammi's awesome sketch, don't forget to upload it to the Oh, Alice! Blog to be in with a chance of winning this weeks prize.
Thank you so much for visiting with me, Have a wonderful weekend all
