Burtonesque Dolls Challenge#11 - "Wood" You Like To Be In A Movie?

This week's challenge: "Wood" You Like To Be In A Movie? That's right, we're taking our inspiration from Ed Wood and challenging you to create in BLACK & WHITE! Once again, we are thrilled to have Tickled Pink Stamps as our sponsor!

This week's prize is the two stamps the DT worked with: 20s Evie and 30s Lylah from the Lil Lolita line!

For my card i used 20's Evie, isn't she adorable?  I knew i had a sizzix filmstrip die in my collection, so i thought that would be perfect for this weeks card.  I created 2 diecuts from black gloss cardstock, and cut the middle bar out of one of them, this made a perfect frame for Evie; for the other i founds some pictures from the film Ed Wood and printed them out to fit my diecut, i also printed out a mini version of the film poster. I then chose my papers, a very simple grey and white striped cardstock and a black and white rose patterned paper, i love the rose on Evie's dress and decided to make roses a feature of my card.  I made a rolled paper rose from a sheet of the rose patterned paper, i then airbrushed this with my black promarker to create a black rose.  To finish it off i added some cosmic shimmers glitter glue, and punch some frond branched out of white cardstock.  I added some clear stardust pen to the leaves and to Evie.

Thanks for visiting with me
