Welcome to the Amber Ink. Grand Opening Blog Frolic! Today the Amber Ink. store officially opens its doors, and you are invited to hang out with us! We've also invited some special friends to participate, in addition to our Brilliant th(Ink)Tank Girls, so get ready to drool!
My Card today features two of my favourite Amber Ink sets, Oh What a Doll - Wave Hello & Make a Scene - Under the Sea. I created my background scene in photoshop, simply copying and pasting the images into a new project, and resizing them as i wished. I then added my beautiful doll image to the project, and printed it out twice. I decided to use a spotlight technique on this card, and thought a heart shape would be pretty. The rest of my card is very simple, i took some pearlescent grey cardstock and made a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card from it, cut a piece of coredinations card slightly smaller, and embossed it with small bubbles embossing folder. I gave this a gentle sand before adhering it to my card base. I then simply layered my images on top, carefully aligning my heart so it matched up with the background scene.
Not only do we have eye candy for you, but we're giving away some secret hidden prizes along the way. You won't know where they are hiding, so make sure to leave some love wherever you go. Winners will be chosen from the comments on the pre-selected blog posts.
Without further ado, here's the list of genius...go forth and comment!
