StampInsanity Challenge#15 - Photo au Mojo… Birthday Style!

This week, we have a Photo au Mojo of these incredible birthday cakes…  YUM!  Your challenge is to use this delish pic to inspire you to make a truly GROOVY birthday card!
For my card i chose to use the beautiful Pierrette from Les Coquettes available at Stamp Happens Online Store.  I flipped Pierrette before printing her out (2 images for the price of 1, one of the advantages of digistamps) I then coloured her with my promarkers and prismacolour pencils.  I decided to use papers from the 'Delovely' Mini Deck by Cosmo Cricket.  I decided to create a background to look like a birthday present all wrapped up with ribbon, I cut a couple of strips of paper, and then die cut a bow for my ribbons.  I layered this onto my white card base, added Pierrette, and added some gorgeous 3D pink butterflies.  To finish my card off i added a flower to the centre of the bow, and some heart gems.

This is definately the sort of birthday card i'd like to receive, very pretty, pink, bright and cheerful.
Thank you for visiting with me and don't forget to check out the rest of the Groovy Gurlz gorgeous creations.
