I've finally managed to get my card finished for this weeks Burtonesque Dolls Challenge, I apologise for the delay, but unfortunately real life too over, and i've been visiting my husband in hospital, he's home now, so we're all happy again, so time to share my creation.
This week the challenge is to create/alter a tag inspired by 'Beetlejuice'. We don't have a sponsor this week, but make sure you visit the Burtonesque Dolls Blog to find out what you can win, because it's something rather special!!!
For my tag I used the very handsome 'Charles' Tulips' image from Tiddly Inks Gothic Cute range of images. I added some stripes to his outfit using a couple of dark grey pencils, before colouring the rest of him with my prismacolour pencils. I created my tag from a piece of green cardstock, which i layered onto black cardstock. I cut round Charles before adding him to the card. I then added the 'Betelgeuse', first in pencil, then in pen once i was happy with the placement. I added some faux stitching to my tag, and to finish it all off a piece of black ribbon.
Thank you for visiting with me today.
