Hello My Beauties, I have something very beautiful to share with you today, StampInsanity have a wonderful new release meet the Mystic Beauties. The Mystic Beauties feature three beautiful images, and i chose to use the gorgeous Pearl Princess for today's card.
It's thursday so it's also time for a new Groovy Challenge with the StampInsanity Groovy Gurlz. This weeks challenge is fun, all you have to do is make an Easel Card, one of the favourite sorts of cards:)
For my card i created my card base from some blue cardstock, I then found this lovely blue wash effect paper in my stash. I stamped some netting onto the background paper using distress ink and a bo bunny stamp. I printed my Pearl Princess out four times, the first print i left complete, the second i cut out the pearl shell, the third the whole of the mermaid, and for the final layer just the mermaids upper body. I then coloured them all with a mixture of promarkers and prismacolour pencils. I printed a sentiment from the Simply Supernatural sentiments set which is released next week. I coloured this with promarkers to match the oyster shell, and then die cut it. I then stuck all my elements to my easel card, and to finish it all off I added a selection of pearls, I chose three colours, cream, light blue, and a darker blue in three different sizes, and scattered them around my card, using micro glue dots.
Make sure you pop along to the StampInsanity blog to see the rest of the Groovy Gurlz gorgeous creations using these beautiful new images.
