It’s TBD Tuesday, and we continue to party with the Busy Beauties! They were kind enough to invite us to their hop last week, and this week they are our generous sponsors! Thanks, Carolyn & crew!
Last week, Busy Beauties released some wicked cool images that fit perfectly with this week’s Burtonesque challenge: AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER. Create a new card, ATC, scrap page, etc. inspired by Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride!
For my card, I used two of the new images from Busy Beauties Boutique, Victor the Groom, and Emily the Bride. I opened both images in Photoshop, and merged them together to create on image, i then printed this out. I then coloured my image with prismacolour pencils and odourless spirits, before cutting them out.
I chose two patterned papers from the 'Rose Garden' paper pack by Papermania, along with a die cut tag that was in the same pack. I used one of my nesties as a template for the background papers, cutting them out by hand, then layering onto black card, before cutting that out. I then used my Dymo to create my sentiment and added it to the die cut tag. I then layered my papers and image onto my card base, before adding some black pearls, and a black rose to Emily's hand.
You have until Monday at 10:00 p.m. PST to link your creepy cool creations at The Burtonesque Dolls blog. One lucky challenge player will win their choice of 5 (FIVE) images from the Busy Beauties Boutique! For more inspiration, please be sure to visit all the Dolls, especially our newest Doll, the lovely & talented Eulanda!
