It's Friday so it's Raise the Bar Day, and today's challenge is lovely...
Create a card or project that has a weather based theme: rain, snow, sunshine, you name it! It doesn't have to be a stamped image, you could use papers or ribbon that evoke weather.
Well I decided to avoid the rain and snow, and go for something more cheerful, and what is the best thing to follow a storm; Yes it's a rainbow!!
Choosing my stamps for this challenges was very easy, I knew that the 'Sunny Days' set of digistamps from Whimsie Doodles was perfect for this card, altho there was one little problem; no rainbow! So I drew my own. I pasted the digistamps into a new file in Photoshop, and played around with the layout of them, until I was happy; I then printed my scene. I drew my rainbow in pencil, before colouring the whole image in with my promarkers. I then added the black outline to the rainbow, and some faux stitching. I then added some more colour using my prismacolour pencils.
I trimmed my image, mounted it on black card, and then onto a white card blank. To finish it off I added the 'Congratulations' epoxy sticker that i'd found in my stash.
I love how bright and cheerful this card came out, and I can't wait to see what you create for this week's challenge. Hope you have as much fun as I did :)
