Well after winning last week's Pixie Dust Studio Challenge, i had to play again this week, and I used the gorgeous Princess and Pea image that i received as my prize. This weeks challenge was to create a mainly green card.
I kept my card very simple. I used a pale yellow card blank for my base, then added a couple of piece of green paper that I had leftover from other projects, to create a background. Then i added my Princess and Pea image; I printed it quite large as I wanted it to be the focal point of the card, I printed two copies so that I could decoupage the image a little. I coloured both images in with my promarkers, I added a little prismacolour pencil to the hair. To finish the card i did a simple faux stitched border on the bottom piece of background paper, and stamped my sentiment directly onto it.
A very quick and simple card, but it was great fun to make. Make sure you take time to visit the Pixie Dust Studio Blog today as there is a wonderful freebie available.
Thanks for visiting
