'Never mind!' Alice said in a soothing tone, and stooping down to the daisies, who were just beginning again, she whispered, `If you don't hold your tongues, I'll pick you!'
There was silence in a moment, and several of the pink daisies turned white.
`That's right!' said the Tiger-lily. `The daisies are worst of all. When one speaks, they all begin together, and it's enough to make one wither to hear the way they go on!'
`How is it you can all talk so nicely?' Alice said, hoping to get it into a better temper by a compliment. `I've been in many gardens before, but none of the flowers could talk.'
Yes, it's the weekend again, so time for some Wonderland inspired fun, and this weeks challenge over at Oh, Alice! is all about flowers, we are challenged to use Flowers on our cards this week.
As well as the Oh, Alice! challenge, i made this card for this weeks Pixie Dust Studio Challenge , this weeks challenge is 'Things with Wings' use anything on your card that has wings.
I used the Mushroom Pixie Princess from Pixie Dust Studios, i printed her out and coloured her with my prismacolour pencils. I found this lovely mushroom paper in my stash, so i decided to use that and some coordinating papers.
Using a circle nestie as a template, i cut two circles from the patterned papers, and then distressed the edges, then pricked the edges before sticking the circles together. I took a white card blank and added the orange polka dot paper to it, and pricked the edges. I then took a couple of scraps of the coordinating striped paper, stuck that to my card and pricked the edges.
I then attached my pretty pixie onto the card, using foam pads to give some height. Then i added some pretty flowers and pearls from my stash.
Another bright cheerful spring inspired card from me today, I love this time of year. My main objective with today's card was to make it as different to yesterday's card as possible; I think i succeeded. Two spring inspired card, but very different in style.
