That's the question over at the Oh, Alice! Challenge Blog.
'Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to create a card using a CATERPILLAR or BUTTERFLY on your projects this week!'
Isn't that just the perfect challange for this wonderful spring day. As soon as I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to use Springtime Morgan from StampInsanity; The Butterfly resting on her finger, is pefect for this challenge.
My paper choices for this card were very easy, The butterfly paper is from a Papermania pack, and the checked background paper is from Making Memories. I coloured Morgan with prismacolour pencils, using the gorgeous pink and green of one of the butterflies as my inspiration.
I kept my layout very simple, i layered the butterfly paper straight onto the checked paper, as I wanted it to almost blend into the background paper. I'm not sure how successful this is, i think maybe the card would have benefited from more defined layers, and a bit more depth. Both Morgan and the senitment are layered straight onto the patterned paper.
To finish my card off I added some beautiful 3D butterfly stickers, I really like these stickers, so pretty and add a lovely sense of movement to the card; I just wish the background of them wasn't quite so holographic.
