It's Monday, so that means it's time for Monday Mania over at Club Anya & Friends, and i am very honoured to say that the wonderful Jessica asked me to set this weeks challenge.
So I challenge you to use the Easel Card Technique, and add some Ribbon to it :)
For my card today i decided to experiment a little with the size of my easel card, instead of the standard square i decided to make mine a 7"x5" card, so instead of a 10" x 5" piece of card for my easel base i used a 10" x 7" piece of card, and for my easel top instead of 5" x 5", i cut my card to 7" x 5".
You score your easel base at 2 1/2" and 5", and then continue to follow the orginal instructions.
I used the adorable Easter Anya and Wild Things from The Greeting Farm to create my little scene. They are off on an easter egg hunt so this paper from the papermania 'Spring Time' set was just perfect for this card. I covered my easel and card base with the same design, and used a sheet full of easter eggs for my background piece. I laced some pink ribbon between two pieced of card, and then added the egg paper to it, this is then attached to the card with foam pads to give some dimension. I then attatched Anya and the wild things with foam pads.
To finish my card and enable it to stand up, i punched a row of hole along the easel base, threaded pink ribbon through them, and then tied it in a bow.
I can't wait to see the entries for my challenge, for all challenge details and a chance to win free stamps visit Club Anya & Friends.
Make sure you visit The Greeting Farm's Blog today, they are having a blog hop to celebrate today's wonderful new releases.
Thanks for visiting
