What's not to love about Friday's, it's the end of the week, so it's time for some quality time with our loved ones; and it's time for another Raise the Bar Challenge
And for this week's challenge...
It's time to have a Heart To Heart Talk heehee!
I know, this was expected as Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so let's see some hearts on your cardsI had great fun with my card for this challenge, it gave me the opportunity to ink up one of the stamps my mum got me for christmas, the adorable Josephine by Kraftin' Kimmie. I love the moonlight whispers range of stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie, they all have some wonderful character and attitude. I stamped Josephine with black memento ink, and then coloured her with my promarkers, i then added some shadows and highlights with my prismacolour pencils. I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of paper, using my promarker so it matches perfectly. I used a 6x6 scrapbooking stencil to add the large dotty heart and the scallopped edge, i used a 0.1 pigment liner for this, then coloured the shapes in with the same red promarker i'd used on the text.
My papers are from a craft mag i got last year, as soon as i saw this weeks challenge i knew these were the perfect papers. I've used a scallop border punch on my papers, and layered them onto the card base. I decided i wanted a little more embellishment and texture, so i add to pieces of ribbon (scraps leftover from other projects). I die cut the sentiment and added two metallic heart embellishment to it, before attaching it with foam pads to my card base. I then trimmed round my main image, and mounted it on the card with somemore foam pads for a little dimension.
Well i bet head off, gotta go see my doctor this afternoon, so glad the snows gone, luckily the rain washed it away overnight. Have a great friday all, and a wonderful weekend; i look forward to seeing everyone's challenge cards over at Raise the Bar.
Thanks for visiting
